Hi, I’m Marla — wife, homemaker, and mama of four busy athletes.
In 2015, I was diagnosed with autoimmune disease. After going through surgeries and working with doctors, I reached a point where I was told that if I chose not to take medication, my doctor wouldn’t continue seeing me.
That moment became my turning point.
While I’m deeply thankful for modern medicine when it’s needed, I knew I didn’t want to rely on prescriptions for the rest of my life. I wanted to understand what was happening inside my body, why it had suddenly shifted in my 30s, and how I could take back control. So, I went all in — mind, body, and soul.
That decision set me on a journey to transform our home and life: switching to non-toxic products, cleaning up our diet, falling in love with the practice of yoga and mindfulness — and eventually becoming a certified yoga instructor (with specialty training in yoga for athletes) and a mindful meditation coach to deepen my knowledge — plus completing two herbalism certifications and currently pursuing a Naturopathic Practitioner certification.
I’ve walked this road — and I’m here to help light the way for you. Everything I share is something I personally use, love, or would wholeheartedly recommend to a close friend.
